Our MissionOur mission is to build a fine vessel, keep overhead to a minimum and pass the savings on to the customer. Our goal is to provide the customer with more vessel for less money.
Company ProfileKeith Marine is a family owned, family operated shipyard, in business over 25 years. We are located on the beautiful St. Johns River in Palatka, Florida, 75 miles from the Atlantic Ocean in Jacksonville, Florida. We have a secluded construction site which offers protection from the elements. We have a new steel building with a 100' opening x 150' long and 50' high. We have an 800 ton marine railway with several side transfer rails to move vessels to 250'. Keith Marine has had extensive experience in the new construction of steel and aluminum vessels over the past 25 years. We have railway service directly into our facility. We are a quarter mile off U.S. 17 in the Putnam County Barge Port. With a family owned and operated business in a small town environment, we are able to keep overhead to a bare minimum. Our employees take great pride in their craft. This pride shows in our products. This winning combination provides the customer with more vessel for less money.
What Makes Keith Marine a Better Choice? We have a long track record for building fine vessels. We have built six cruise tenders for Royal Carribean Cruise Lines over the past 16 years. We are building our fourth dinner cruise vessel for Sir Winston Luxury Yacht Charters in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Repeat business tells alot about our product. We pay attention to details and provide many unseen modifications that provide the customer with a better end product. Examples of these would be stainless rod on the edges of exposed bulwarks and rails to reduce maintenance. We provide literally thousands of pounds of angle and channel used as stiffeners during the welding process. This angle and channel, once removed, leaves a much more fair product, thereby reducing the need for fairing compounds. We grind and fair weld seams to provide a more appealing hull. New Construction
